St. Anne Catholic Elementary School provides the opportunity for students in grades JK - grade 3/4 to participate in two different school-age book clubs where students get to judge his/her favourite author of a nominated list. The competition is between ten Canadian authors competing against one another to win students' vote for best story of the year.

This program gives students the opportunity to distinguish some current "well-known" Canadian authors as well as select his/her favourite by judging & critiquing each authors' works! The two programs currently running at St. Anne are BlueSpruce and SilverBirch Express Book Clubs, but each year it varies depending on school enrolment numbers per grade.
