French Program

 

In the Core French classes in our English only school, our French teacher helps students improve their speaking skills and develop a broad basic understanding of the French language.

 

 

French is taught at our elementary beginning in Grade 1, by a qualified French teacher. Students in Grades 1 and 2 receive 20 minutes per day when they learn French, and in Grades 3 to 8, they have 40 minutes each day of French instruction.

 

From grades 1-8, students will have many opportunities to engage in cultural experiences (e.g. Annual French Carnival, French performers, French Concerts, French Plays Performed by Students and field trips) and participate in and prepare our students for real-life situations.
